Do I have to do this?

What exactly do you do?

We coordinate workplace rehabilitation services that align recovery goals with medical input and business needs. This includes return-to-work planning, stakeholder communication, and addressing barriers to sustainable recovery.

Will this help me get back to work?

Yes. Our objective is to facilitate a safe and confident return to meaningful work by addressing both physical and psychosocial factors that may impact recovery.

Do I have to go back to the same job?

Not necessarily. If the pre-injury role is no longer suitable, we work collaboratively with all parties to explore appropriate alternatives that support recovery and functional capacity.

What happens if I’m not ready to go back?

Recovery is guided by readiness, not rushed timelines. Return-to-work decisions are made based on clinical input and functional progress, ensuring plans are safe and appropriate.

Will you talk to my doctor?

Yes. We regularly liaise with treating professionals to ensure recovery planning aligns with medical treatment, promoting continuity and effective coordination of care.

What if I get worse while doing rehab?

Your wellbeing remains our priority. If symptoms escalate or needs change, we reassess the plan with all stakeholders and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain safe recovery.

How long will this take?

Timelines vary depending on the injury and individual circumstances. We provide a clear roadmap from the outset and communicate updates throughout the process so expectations remain clear.

What does a rehabilitation consultant do?

A rehabilitation consultant (RC) acts as a liaison between the employer,injured worker, treating professionals, and the insurer. They coordinaterecovery at work strategies that are medically appropriate and aligned with abusiness’ needs. This effectively reduces claim durations, promotes recovery,and ensures early, safe return to work—saving time, increasing productivityand reducing insurance costs.

How does workplace rehabilitation help?

How long does someone’s recovery usually take?

Recovery timelines vary by individual and by injury. Workers receive anindividualised plan from day one, that is created in collaboration with allstakeholders, and this is followed until the worker is back feeling better thanever!
